The local gastronomy, rich in flavour and colour, owes its diversity of products to this fertile land bathed in sunshine and sheltered from the winds: called Catalonia. The producers will share with you their passion, their secrets and above all their often ancestral know-how. Let yourself be carried away by this festival of flavour !
The programme :
DAY 1 : Arrival of participants.
DAY 2 : Bourg-Madame and its gastronomy: visit to the rousquilles factory, jewel of Catalan gastronomy / visit to the Font-Romeu resort / tasting of Banyuls wines.
DAY 3 : The Conflent: journey by the picturesque little yellow train / lunch in Vernet les Bains / direction the village of Sahorre and meeting with saffron producers.
DAY 4 : From the Cerdagne to the Capcir: cheese tasting at the Dormidou farm / grilling by the lake of Matemale / Fontrabiouse cave / discovery of typical liqueurs.
DAY 5 : Enclave de Llivia: visit of a typical Spanish village / tapas aperitifs / direction to the village of Vallcebolère / gourmet snack at the Auberge des écureuils.
DAY 6 : Departure of the participants.
